Well about 2 weeks ago I went to got treated for what I believed to be BV... I decided to go ahead and get a full STD screen...about 4 days ago I was told I tested a low positive HSV 2... Never had any symptoms and after doing extensive research found that most physicians don't screen for herpes unless you have symptoms ... The doctor I saw didn't even swab me at all, just took a urine and blood sample...
Went to the ER and got checked and the doctor said she couldn't see anything alarming... I'm in terrible emotional pain but still in absence of any OB...I did inform my partner of the results and at first he was mildly upset thinking I had cheated.. I assured him I've only been with him which is the absolute truth...
Since then he has calmed down and assured me he was gonna remain with me from here .I am seeking confirmatory testing and hopefully I will find good news, but it is great to know that my boyfriend is willing to stick by me through this... He amazes me at how positive he has been... I almost can't believe it...
I have been terribly depressed and am suffering from intense anxiety ... But with the support of God, my man, family and a friend I feel I will be okay eventually... It's hard not to feel dirty and useless but I know that these thoughts are temporary...
LOL in fact my boyfriend still tells me how sexy I am and how he enjoys being with me... LOL and also still trying to feel me up! LOL and I'm like wow, after all this u still see me the same... It's an awesome blessing and through this I think I've found my soul mate.
