Don't Know How To Tell My Partner

So about 4 months ago I got very sick and I had break outs in the back of my throat. A few days after I noticed that the sores have spread even on my lip. I had no idea what it was. I went to my dentist and said it was a viral stomatitis, and I'm thinking alright that's not so bad. But I got very sick and I was sick for a good 2 weeks, I went to the doctors and they tested my break out and identified it as oral herpes.


After that I started to freak out a little because I was worried what if I have genital herpes as well. A month later I went to the gyno, and I got blood work and everything, I was completely clean except I had oral herpes which I already knew that.

I was very relieved to hear that and I heard the only way to spread it is if you have a breakout. Well me and my boyfriend been together for over a year now and we have sexual activity, but I'm so scared that I’m going to give it to him.

I haven't had a breakout but it still worries me. And I'm so scared to tell him because I feel like he's going to think I'm gross. I know he loves me but I'm scared he will be mad at me for not telling him and what if he already got it. I don't know what to do.
